About this artist

Sinapse is a Boston based heavy rock band with a metal/hardcore influence transitioning between trance inducing layering and explosive, earth-shattering breakdowns. Creating original heavy rock music since September 2001, Sinapse brings a fresh earful of unmatched diversity to the music industry. Two guitars, bass, drums, and influential words and vocal melodies help convey their music and inspiring messages with assertiveness.

The band has recently returned from their first national tour, which stretched from coast to coast. The goal of this tour was to promote their most recent release, a five song EP entitled Defining Janus. Recorded by Marc Jordan in Sullivan Street Studios (NYC) along with Joe Blaney (Prince, Beastie Boys) and mastered by Tom Baker (Stone Temple Pilots, Deftones, Sevendust, etc.), this record showcases the band's songwriting ability and musical proficiency. However Sinapse will always be best received from the stage. While touring, Sinapse was able to captivate audiences all over the country with their intense live performances and commanding stage presence. This is where the band shines, and this is why they will continue to tour the country spreading their music to as many as people as possible.

Sinapse has received overwhelming support from venues and radio stations in their home town. The Boston rock station 104.1 WBCN has been spinning the first single from Defining Janus called Vintage Teeth Marks. This has been integral in the bands progress. Over the next few months, Sinapse's goal is to continue to promote themselves through press and radio, as well as networking with hard working bands all over the country. They are also planning several short east coast tours. The band is a group of workaholics that have no plans on stopping anytime soon. Young and unemployed with nothing to lose, Sinapse is determined to play their music for the world.
