Mikrokleinstgarten is nowadays a Berlin-based independent label, founded 2009 in Dresden. The initial ambition was to publish music in the tradition of DIY, that has been created by the founders or friendship musicians. Getting things done, made possible by the hands of the very collective. Based on this idea, the effort was held up high to publish music still on the lookout for the right corner and sometimes not always easy to classify into narrow genres and structures. And so it seems, that this is the reason for steady movement and fertile restlessness. Mikrokleinstgarten as a label with continuous drive and self-adjustment, an experimental set-up performed together, with an unknown course and (so far) an unpredictable direction.
The point is to make a collective attempt.
