About this artist

Michael Giacchino is a prolific composer of scores and soundtracks for video games, television and film. He first gained recognition in the late '90s for his orchestral scores for Dreamworks Interactive games like The Lost World: Jurassic Park and four Medal of Honor editions; he has continued working with WWII-themed material across Call of Duty and Secret Weapons over Normandy. He frequently works with Pixar, having scored The Incredibles, Ratatouille and Up. His most successful work might be for the television series Lost, in which he combined percussive sounds played on pieces of plane fuselage with darkly atonal strings; his falling brass fanfare became a signature of the series.
