About this artist

Hi, I am Michael(Mic)Hudon. I grew up in Dover, New Hampshire.
I am a U.S. Army Veteran, and when I decided to leave the active duty army, I also decided to be adventurous by moving out west to fulfill my boyhood dream. I moved to San Diego, CA and needed to find work. I wound up joining the California Army National Guard and working full time along the international border with Mexico.

After going through a rough patch with PTSD and finding refuge in pills and/or a bottle, and leaving CAARNG, I wrote a book about my experiences titled Tecate Peak:The Edge which can be found on amazon.com.
From the book - I decided to write a song for each chapter. These songs were written about the drive I took during my time on the job in San Diego.

The theme song for my upcoming album, titled Tecate Peak, is all about the long drive and then the everyday drive down Campo Road to the Tecate border crossing station. I describe what the view was like while working at the Tecate border crossing station as well as the drive back to San Diego. The 3 other songs are related to the introduction of the fictional team of ad hoc law enforcement officers I named Southern California Border Security (SCABS) as well as how I related to the San Diego coastline. I have all 26 songs written - but have only got the first 4 produced. My producer is Hana Muftic & Richard Globisch at Sandbox Studios in Los Angeles, CA. I am currently a member in good standing of BMI as well as ASCAP. My music has been approved and monetized on Soundcloud and distributed on REPOST.

The EP has just been released on July 1, 2020 Enjoy!
