A rapper, songwriter, pianist who grew up in the South Bronx listening to rock music which was introduced by his older brother Gyason and then at age 14 rap was introduced to him by his oldest brother Gabriell. First rappers that ever caught his attention were Eminem and J. Cole. At 16 he began to write his own raps and creating his own music. Merci J is a different kind of rapper who has a very unique voice and way of rapping. He is a very talented person who is learning to produce and engineer his own music.
