Lil King Joe is steadily building a strong reputation in Long Beach's burgeoning hip hop scene. He wrote his first rap when he was 12 years old. By the time he was 17, his song PROTECT YOUR HEAD was featured on the TRAINING DAY SOUNDTRACK under his original working name, SOLDIER B. He was featured in the December 2001 issue Billboard and the song was later featured in GTA5. The soundtrack reached number 35 on the billboard 200 and was heard by millions. He later adopted the name Joe Yung and LiL King Joe and has performed under those names ever since, building his name as a Dope Mc. This independent artist, writer and performer works with producers all over the country. His flow changes from track to track, starting each time with a beat that makes him feel and incorporating original sound. He's building his company Ghetto Child incorporated from the ground up into a respected brand.
