For Javon Inman, it all started in Massillon, Ohio at his grandfather's church, New Life C.O.G.I.C. where he would sing his first solo at the age of 4 in the Sunshine Band. His parents recognized his musical gifts early on, thereby, keeping him active in musical theatre productions at Howard University (Washington, DC), All-State choirs and chamber singers. It was the music ministry at Refreshing Spring C.O.G.I.C. (Riverdale, MD) as a Praise & Worship Leader and Choir Director that would prove to be his greatest training. He later joined the thriving ministry of Hear The Word Bible Church (Bowie, MD) where he would serve as Minister of Music and Worship Leader.

In 2011, Javon released his debut album HEART OF A WORSHIPER earning him 13 music awards. The powerfully written album produced the hit anthem Redeemer for worshipers across the nation and abroad. He would later record two additional singles Beautiful Girl (2014) and Empty Me (2015). It was the gospel love song, Beautiful Girl that caught the attention of urban radio yielding him his first cross-over song. Having written over 200 songs with his music playing on over 50 stations across the U.S., the U.K, Africa and Caribbean islands, Javon is clear about his Kingdom purpose. He is ecstatic for the world to hear his latest single "Love Covers [ft. Music Society]" as he gears up for his sophomore album AGAPE EROS releasing on November 10, 2017.
Inman is very clear about his assignment. He says, “God created me to write the music in His heart for the strengthening of His people. It’s never about me. Our world is in pretty bad shape, and no surprise to God of course, but He's looking for a few that will repair breeches one by one through love in this tumultuous society. My new album [AGAPE EROS] seeks to be that agent of change that extends to all and purposed to transform lives through love. This entire record was birthed out of obedience, so I expect miracles because it's His agenda."
Javon currently lives in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with his wife and 2 sons.
