In Real Life

Winners of ABC’s 2017 TV music contest Boy Band, In Real Life are an all-male, dance-oriented pop outfit. Featured in the group are Shorewood, Wisconsin’s Brady Tutton, Seal Beach, California’s Chance Perez, Bronx, New York’s Drew Ramos, Redwood City, California’s Sergio Calderon, and Shaker Heights, Ohio’s Michael Conor. Each member was under 20 years old at the time of In Real Life’s win and had to audition separately for the show. During their time on Boy Band, they competed with 30 other singers to become part of the band. After winning the contest in August of 2017, they signed a contract with Hollywood Records and released their debut single, “Eyes Closed.” Two more singles, “Tattoo (How ’Bout You)” and “How Badly,” arrived the following year. Spring 2019 saw the group issue the singles “Crazy AF” and “Somebody Like You.” ~ Matt Collar
