At the age of 16, soon grew his passion for music. The consistent exposure of had an influence on him. Erick soon studied music and broke down what each line and pattern that was used to create songs. At the age of 17, Erick was closer to crafting his own form of style. is another influence to him as he searched for a sound and a tone to mark his fingerprint on each song. It wasn't until he heard playing While My Guitar Gently Weeps that made him pick up a broken guitar and use a hammer to form the it into tone. spent the rest of the year learning guitar and at the age of 19, His first album, was crafted. No single and no start up. Erick launched 10 songs right out of the gate ranking him a presence in the music industry. The album was a big release with 20 songs as a statement that Erick Mars is here to stay. Erick's 3rd album was a new chapter in his life, and gained him a lot of publicity. Erick was more aware of how to create an environment for songs.
