They say there is no place like home, but how would you define "home"? DubtownROB’s life journey began July 1, 1990. As a teenager, R.O.B, lived with his mother in the back of their vehicle and in homeless shelters most of his teenage years. Through the years of struggling financially with his mother, R.O.B. found an outlet and a way to express himself through music. His latest LP "Homecoming" recounts his days on the streets. Debuting his music career, he would land in the town of Modesto, California as he went on to perform at several venues in 2009 and 2010. Since 2010, R.O.B. has performed in many different venues in across California.
In 2015, he opened up for Bone Thugs N Harmony. Followed by Snow Tha Product, Tech N9ne and Waka Flocka Flame that same year. In 2016, he hit the main stage yet again to open for T-Pain, Sage The Gemini and IAMSU. He wrapped up 2017 by establishing his own clothing line which has received promotion from artists such as Baby Bash, Mobb Deep, and The Dogg Pound. R.O.B. is maintaining his focus in 2018, as he is currently on the “New Wave” tour to promote his latest album and the lead single. When R.O.B. was asked what he attributes to his life’s ambitions, he replied, “No matter what we face, with perseverance, comes positivity.” And indeed, he reflects that very saying; hearing it through his hard hitting and real rhymes.
