About this artist

With a crooked flow and a raspy voice, rapper Bankroll Fresh broke out of his native Atlanta thanks to a series of well-received mixtapes plus the co-sign he received from producer Mike WiLL Made It. After he launched his career in 2006 with a demo, the rapper slowly issued a series of mixtapes. Guest appearances with artists like Future and Wiz Khalifa helped spread his name, and in 2013 he collaborated with Metro Boomin on the producer’s 19 & Boomin mixtape. A year later, Fresh issued his Life of a Hot Boy mixtape, while 2013 saw the rapper featured next to Juicy J and Big Sean on the Mike WiLL Made It mixtape Ransom. In early March of 2016 he was shot and killed inside an Atlanta recording studio. He was 28. ~ David Jeffries
