About this artist

Born in Paris, France, renowned composer and artist Arno Elias spawned his music career at the age of 8. As the son of a musician, Elias perfected his talents and at 17 he was already on tour as the lead guitarist for the popular rock band REX. Elias is world known for his composition and production of the Buddha Bar album and the famous song "Amor, Amor" from Nino (8). He continued to advance, composing and producing the first Buddha Bar Nature Music DVD released in 2006 launching Elias into legendary new age and world music status. His most recent praised work was for the United Nations organization UNICEF in New York. Working with a narration of accomplished artists such as Latin Rock star Shakira, he created the score for the video and the PSA for UNICEF's worldwide campaign.

More than an accomplished musician, Elias has broadened his talents through studying painting, finding inspiration in the pop art movement and artists such as Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Richter, Mathieu, Polock, Basquiat, Monory...

In 2005 Elias was the chosen host for the official closing party of Art Basel in Miami at the Shore Club, where he held a solo exhibition the following year. Now based in Miami, he is working on a new series of paintings and is expected to exhibit in Majors cities around the world, He continues to travel the world to find new motivation and challenges in order to create his art. He dares to test the world with his contemporary paintings. Arno Elias is a true pioneer in the artistic community and is sure to be noticed for his gift of inspiration.
