Alessio Bernabei

Italian singer Alessio Bernabei first rose to fame as the frontman for the pop group Dear Jack which he formed in 2012. Dear Jack received their first major exposure competing in the 2013 season of Italian talent show Amici di Maria de Filippi, coming in second place and winning the critic’s award. Released in 2014, the band’s debut album, Domani è un Altro Film, Pt. 1 was a massive success, going double platinum, with its 2015 sequel, Domani è un Altro Film, Pt. 2, faring almost as well. In October of that year, Bernabei split with the group and signed a solo deal with Warner. His 2016 entry into the Sanremo Festival, “Noi Siamo Infinito,” sealed his popularity as a solo act and he delivered his debut album, Noi Siamo Infinito, later that year. Bernabei returned in 2017 with a pair of singles, “Nel Mezzo di un Applauso” and “Non è il Sudamerica.” ~ Timothy Monger
