Allen Wish is a name that’s becoming more and more familiar in the tech house scene. A force to be reckoned with, the key wizz and AW Records label boss has been making quite the name for himself since he first burst onto the scene and has had quite the journey before becoming as successful as he is today.
Aged just 10, Wish developed a strong interest for music, which became the inception of his passion for creating new sounds. His disciplined nature born out of this later led him to a stint as a helicopter pilot in Afghanistan for the Department of Defence of the United States and his native country, Columbia. However, his main passion, music, had been calling him all along which saw him return to his one true love, creating infectious beats.
Having dabbled with several sounds, Wish found his tribe within the tech-house corner of the dance spectrum and hasn’t looked back since. Famed for releases “Higher”, “Star” and his biggest record; “Setting Sun”, the third release via his own AW Records imprint is nearing 1 million streams. Other props include being invited by Galantis to hop on his “Mama Look At Me Now” single for an Allen Wish spin, perform at the Latin Billboard as well as receive support from the likes of Tiesto Dannic, Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano and more.
With releases set to come through the likes of Ultra Music alongside Robbie Riviera, a three piece EP via Green Velvet’s Relief and plenty more exciting projects in the pipeline, 2021 is set to be another big one for Allen Wish
