About this artist

Alice Chater is a British singer and songwriter. After graduating from Italia Conti, a meeting with will.i.am led to her signing with Virgin EMI Records in the UK and Capitol Records in the US. Recording with the likes of Rami, Bonnie McKee and Years & Years producer Mark Ralph, she released a number of cover versions like Mariah Carey's "Vision of Love" and Madonna's "Hung Up", before debuting her first proper single "GIRLS X BOYS" under the name "alice" in April 2018.

Her second single, "Heartbreak Hotel" followed in July; she returned to using her full name not long after the single’s release to avoid confusion with similarly-named artists. "Hourglass" and the previously teased "Wonderland (My Name is Alice)" were later released in October 2018, the first garnering praise for its inventive The Human League sample and Madonna-like production. Alice started to grow a lot in 2019 which allowed her to create a solid fanbase through social media.

That same year Alice released "Thief" and "Tonight" as singles and featured on the track "Got It All" with Professor Green which was her most played and best positioned song in the UK so far. Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has expressed interest in a collaboration with the singer via Twitter which brought us the single "Lola" in November 2019.
