关于此艺人相关信息

Alex Rose is an internationally charting urbano singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer from Puerto Rico. His reedy baritone crisscrosses tunes that seamlessly wed reggaeton and trap, edgy R&B, cumbia, and hip-hop. “Orgasmo,” his independently released debut single, appeared in 2016. He has subsequently issued more than 40 singles and remixes under his own name, including 2018′s international chart hit “Toda Remix”, the album Lost in 2019, and 2021′s “Shaggy Remix.”
Rose was born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Interested in music from the time he could walk, as a child and young adolescent, he continually entered singing and dancing competitions. Influenced heavily by Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, and Arcángel, he began cutting his own videos and tracks and posting them to YouTube. In 2016, after submitting a demo, he was signed to the independent Los Oidos Fresh label and released his first single, “Orgasmo.” That same year, he followed with “Sexo” (featuring Miky Woodz), “Maldad” (featuring Jayma and Dalex), and “Percocet.” While none of these tracks charted, they made inroads for the artist at radio and on video. In 2017, he issued the club hit “Loco Loquito” (featuring Jory Boy), and a collaborative remix of “Percocet” with participation from Lenny Tavarez, Chris Wandell, and Quimico Ultra Mega.
Rose hit the charts for the first time with the 2018 Sexflix EP that registered in three countries. “Toda Remix” (featuring Rauw Alejandro and Lenny Tavarez) was his breakthrough. It charted Top 40 in 13 countries, and its video registered more than 640 million views that year alone — it has since crossed the 1.3 billion views marker. The track also spent 18 weeks on the U.S. charts. Nine of Rose’s dozen singles that year — including “More More” (featuring Jory Boy) and “Me Frontio” (featuring Justin Quiles and Dimelo Flow), charted in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Rose issued Lost, his debut album, in 2019. Three of its seven tracks — “Jangueo,” “Todos Ven,” and “Ontas Remix” — made the charts as singles. His other streaming hits included “Mala Fama” (featuring D.OZI) and “Control” (featuring De la Ghetto).
The COVID-19 pandemic kept Rose from touring in support of Lost, but it didn’t curb his output. Over the course of 2020 he managed to release and/or collaborate on 11 singles. Among them were internationally charting “Sex Toy” in collaboration with Hozwal, “Swaggy” (featuring Arcángel), and “Toque de Queda.” Further, Rose duetted with Emilia on “Bendición” and Corina Smith on the internationally acclaimed “Pasatiempo.”
In 2021, Rose was featured on Decoro and Kura’s stunning “Mi Siento Bien.” The Afro-Latin dance club anthem ingeniously combined salsa, reggaeton, trap, and electro. Rose’s own “Me Fije” (featuring Rauw Alejandro) appeared in March and charted in 13 countries, including Spain, Argentina, and Colombia, registering more than 80 million spins at streaming. In June, “Belinda,” a collaboration with Marcus & Martinus, went Top 20 across the Caribbean. At the end of August, Rose released “Swaggy Remix” (featuring Arcángel and Brytiago). ~ Thom Jurek
