Swedish composer, born June 3, 1972 in Kristinehamn.

He studied composition at the Malmö Academy of Music and at the Royal College of Music in London during the years 1994-2000.

In recent years, Albert has had great success with both his chamber and orchestral music. The orchestra work "A Freak in Burbank" has been particularly successful. It is one of the most played Swedish works internationally with more than 70 performances and has been performed in the Royal Albert Hall during the BBC Proms. Albert Schnelzer's music has been performed by over 60 different professional orchestras around the world, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Scottish SO, Liverpool Philharmonic, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Utah Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Lahti Symphony Orchestra, Pori Sinfonietta, Weimar Staatskapelle, Danska Radions Symfoniorkester, National Arts Center Orchestra (Canada), Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Kristiansands Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra della Svizzera italiana and all Swedish symphony orchestras. He has collaborated with conductors such as Daniel Harding, Thomas Dausgaard, Mark Wigglesworth, Kirill Karabits, Thomas Søndergård, Nikolaj Znaider, Lionel Bringuier, John Storgårds, Santtu-Matias Rouvali, Jaime Martin and musicians such as Francois Leleux, Brodsky Quartet and Dame Evelyn Glennie.
