About this artist
Hailing from Berlin, now residing in Rotterdam, Achat became enthusiastic about electronic music and began experimenting with his own productions and compositions at a young age.
Over the years he continued to evolve his unique experimental sound, evoked through defined percussion grooves, precise sound design and abstract arrangements. Inspired by cinematic sounds, breakbeat and industrial techno as well as contemporary artists like Depeche Mode, Fluke and The Prodigy, Achat’s productions and DJ style are a melting pot of all his influences.
He has released on Wrongnotes, OBSCUUR and Deestricted to name but a few, and founded the label “Nulleins Records”, which to date has released worldwide hits such as “Rampage” by Bollmann and “Sucht & Drang” by Kalte Liebe.
